Most weddings benefit from a 2nd unique point-of-view. Often times, when the primary photographer is capturing the "have-to-have" moments a 2nd is able to swing their lens to those in-between moments.
Absolutely! It is addressed with an option in your contract, whether you'd like to extend services on the day of, if events are running behind schedule.
I have been shooting with 2 full frame Nikon cameras, and a complete kit of professional glass. This includes the 3 typical 2.8 zoom lenses (17-35 2.8, 24-70 2.8, 70-200 2.8) and a selection of specialty lenses (Sigma Art 35 1.4, Nikon 50 1.4, Nikon 85mm 1.8). Of course, while gear does not inherently make your images "good" they do provide the flexibility to shoot in any condition, and have backup equipment.
For weddings you will be provided a print release, but it is encouraged to have any of your professional images printed through my selected labs. Through years of sampling I have found the magic settings/print labs that print the best quality images depending on type (paper, canvas, metal).
Portrait session photos are purchased individually and meticulously polished in preparation for delivery.
Wedding images are bulk-edited and delivered as a single gallery. These are typically sorted from thousands of images, down to around 60-80 per hour of shooting.
